Professor Eyal Fruchter, a clinical associate prof. of medicine (in psychiatry) of the Brus Rappaport medical faculty in the Technion, Haifa, Israel.
MD- from the medical faculty of the Technion (1985-1992)
MHA- from Ben- Gurion University in Beer Sheva (2004-2006)
Served as a military physician in field and command positions, and later as a psychiatrist in the IDF medical corps.
Last 3 positions- head of the psychology branch in the IAF (rank LTC), chief psychiatrist (rank LTC) and head of the mental health department in the IDF (rank Col).
Over all 24 years of military service.
Since military retirement, in 2017, prof. Fruchter was the head of the psychiatric wing in Rambam medical campus and CEO of the mental health hospital MAALE HACARMEL.
For the last 3 years, he is also the chair of the counseling committee to the ministry of health on PTSD and a member in the counseling committee for mental health and suicide prevention.
